Using your Heritage (Celtic) Leathercare on your clothing is much the same as using it on other leather products. Your leathercare is a quality product with many other uses. It is ideal for use on leather bags and cases. Again with white and similar colours you may need to clean with a damp, soapy cloth first, making sure the leather is totally dry before using your Heritage. There is no need to clean other colours! You then load your sponge (provided) by wiping over the surface of your polish and remove any surplus by wiping on the inside edge of the container. You then wipe on your handbag, suitcase, briefcase, etc. making sure the surface is not greasy. If it is, just buff up with a soft, dry cloth.

Leather boots and shoes are also ideal for treatment by Heritage Leathercare. How do I rewax a wax jacket?

I have had a number of people contacting me about rewaxing a wax jacket so, having introduced you to Heritage Leathercare, I thought now is the right time to discuss this.

It is, in fact, a comparatively simple job to do. Your first task is to make sure your jacket is clean. If there are marks, take a damp cloth, previously soaked in soapy water and wipe over the mark, this should clean your jacket although stubborn stains may present difficulty. Make sure your jacket is totally dry and you are reasy.

Using the sponge provided, load it in the usual way by wiping over the surface of your Heritage Leathercare and apply to your jacket in circular motions. Wipe over the whole of your jacket making sure it is not greasy, where it is continue wiping with your sponge.

Heritage Leathercare will clean most colours although white and similar light colours may need washing first. If you need to wash, use pure soap (Simple soap, baby soap, soap flakes, Dreft), dry thoroughly after washing, then use your Heritage.

How do I remove nicotine from wood furniture?

Hello everyone. I have been away for a few days, having got offered a good deal in Malta. It was a pleasant break, nice to get away from the snow.

I have had a question from someone who has inherited an antique rocking chair from her grandfather. Apparently he was a heavy smoker and the chair, not having been cleaned for over 20 years has a nicotine grime covering it. My reader has been using a proprietary cleaner but is finding this is hard work and slow going. What she wanted to know is whether Heritage Woodcare will be any better.

Removing nicotine grime is the same as any other grime. Prepare your cloth in the usual way - give your bottle a really good shake, pour some into a container, take any soft and clean cloth, soak in your polish, squeeze and wring your cloth out, pour any remaining polish in the container back into your bottle and just wipe. You may need several applications to remove the buildup completely with the chair going streaky as the buildup is removed. No hard work is necessary and you do not need to do vigorous rubbing nor do you need to buff up.

How can I keep myself warm and get drug free pain relief?

Well the snow and ice continue and the temperatures remain very cold. Heating bills go up to compensate, or , at least mine will. How can I keep myself warm and relieve aches and pains?

Well readers, I don't know what it is like with you but here it is snowing again, adding to what fell yesterday. It is also very cold and what I need is something to keep me warm. How can I clean my kitchen

In my recent posts, I have told you how to use Your Heritage Woodcare to clean and polish your wood floors and furniture. It does have many more uses though than just floors and furniture.

It is brilliant in your kitchen Use it on all the cupboards to remove the build-up of grease - prepare your cloth in the normal way and just wipe. Should there be a heavy build-up (on cooker hoods, etc.), squeeze your cloth out but don't wring it out, wipe over the cooker hood last thing at night. do this for about a week and having allowed the oils to penetrate the grease, you will be able to just wipe it off.
Also use your Heritageto clean and polish your white goods. Prepare your cloth in the normal way and just wipe, you do not need to buff up.
