How do I clean and polish leather football boots

We are now at the beginning of the football season and someone has asked me about cleaning football boots. Using Heritage Leathercare, this is a quite straight forward job!

The first thing you need do is to make sure the boots are dry. Don't, however, attempt to dry them using heat. The best way is to stuff the boots with newspaper and let them dry naturally. When the boots are dry , remove all mud, but do not use sharp knives to do this - you don't want to put nicks, cuts, etc on your leather. Having removed the mud, brush the boots to remove the last vestiges. You are now ready to polish.

Using the sponge provided, or a soft cloth, apply your Heritage Leathercare all over the boots, including the laces. Use circular motions and use your Heritage very sparingly, your boots should not be greasy, if they are you have used too much polish and will need to buff up using a soft cloth.

You are now finished and your boots are ready for use.
