The National Motorhome Show 2009

(continued) The reason I wasn't trading was because my van went for it's MOT on Tuesday but I still hadn't got it back on Thursday when I should have travelled to The National Motorhome Show In Peterborough. However, as I was writing my blog, it arrived complete with brand new MOT.As I had to make an early start to travel on Friday (5.30.am) I had to then set about getting myself ready, which is why I didn't get chance to finish writing my blog.
The National Motorhome Show was an intersting show. Some of those motorhomes are absolutely fantastic, especially the Winnebago types but they have prices to match! There were motorhomes as far as the eye could see (obviously!) including many parked outside the showground.Trading wise it wasn't too bad - it could have been better but it could also have been much worse.
Don't forget, all Heritage and Green Angel products can be bought on line at http://www.heritagepolish.com/

Did you spot the deliberate mistake from yesterday?(that's my story and I am sticking to it!)The title should have read "New Shows" not "New Sows". I have now corrected it.
I am sitting in front of my computer and not trading as i should be. (To be continued)

Today is Easter Tuesday. I have had the whole of Easter off! It is years since I last had the whole of a Bank Holiday without working at least of the time. Instead, this year I spent the holiday with my wife,my sons and my grandsons. We have spent hours playing games, we have been to the boating area at Leamington - we have spent time together, we haven't spent time in traffic jams and I haven't worked - great isn't it!
I am looking at booking up some shows but want to be choosy this year as many of the shows I have done so far this year are considerably down on previous years. Watch this space or go to my website http://www.heritagepolish.com/

Tomorrow is another day

Well, I have done two one-day shows since I last posted. The first show was last Saturday at the Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry. I did not have great expectations of this show but it was even slower than even I expected. However as the show was free I didn't lose anything unlike the second show that I did. This was a trade show in Lincoln. I am assured a great effort was put into marketing but all I can say is that it didn't pay off. Still, tomorrow is another day!

Craft Fair - Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry

I hadn't realised it was so long since I last posted.
I exhibited at the Milton Keynes Garden Show last weekend -the date was on my website - www.heritagepolish.com/dates.shtml Friday was much slower than usual as was Saturday. Sunday, however, was as busy as usual. Strange.

At home I have finally started tidying up my garden after Winter. I must say, even though I say it myself, the front does look better for having been mowed and weeded. My son bought me a redcurrant bush for my birthday so I am going to have to do something about that as well as sort the back garden out next.

Tomorrow I will take my gear down to the Herbert Art Gallery ready for my next show which is a craft fair at the Gallery on Saturday. I hope you will be able to come - it is to celebrate their current exhibition-La Bouche du Roi considering issues of exploitation. I hope to see you there.
