Do I need to remove wax polish from my furniture?

Someone asked me if it is necessary to remove wax polish from furniture. The short answer to this is Yes. Continual and regular usage of wax polish will result in your furniture becoming clogged and dull. Whilst that in itself is not necessarily a problem, it does affect the ascetics (i.e. It doesn't look as nice)

There is, however, an easy solution. Heritage Woodcare removes all this buildup (silicones, waxes, grease and grime) and at the same time it will also remove most white-heat marks, ring marks and water marks. Using it is also very easy. Simply shake your bottle thoroughly, pour some of the polish into a container, soak a clean cloth (such as a duster) in the polish, squeeze and wring it out till it is damp dry, return the surplus polish to your container and you are now ready.

All you need do now is wipe, following the direction of the grain - there is no need to buff up! You may find your furniture becomes streaky. Don't worry, this is the polish doing it's job and indicating you will need more than one application. The removal of marks may also require more than one application. When using the polish on second or subsequent occasions, it is recommended that you wipe the whole surface to keep it even. Keeping your cloth in a screw top jar or sealed plastic bag in the short term will keep it damp and mean you may not need to prepare it again although this is not guaranteed.

Regular use of your Heritage Will keep your furniture looking good with the added advantage that there will be no more buildups!
