How can I relax in my bath? part 2

A few days ago I had an invitation to connect with someone on LinkedIn. Unfortunately I am still not really savvy on using social media sites but I am working on it.So, if you are reading this blog, please bear with me - I will get there eventually!

Yesterday I blogged about Green Angel Bath Soaks but I didn't mention the different blends. They come in eight co-ordinated blends :-

(Rest & Calm) Lavender,Chamomile and Orange oils
(Joint Reviver)Marjoram,Rosemary and Lemon oils
(Muscular Reliever) Black Pepper,Eucalyptus and Rosemary oils
(Spring Clean) Eucalyptus.Tea Tree and Juniper oils
(Relax) Lavender and Orange oils
(Wakey Wakey) Graefruit, tangerine and Neroli oils
(Down to Earth) Lavender,Patchouli and Cedar Wood oils
(Seaweed & Rosemary) Rosemary oil and seaweed powder

The different co-ordinated blends give each blend different benefits achieved from the essential oils used in the blend thus inspiring the names.

how can I relax in my bath?

Having talked yesterday about the value of Green Angel products for your face, I thought today I would mention their range of Dead Sea Salt Essential Oil Bath Soaks with Irish Seaweed Extract.
The Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth and rich in an extraordinary blend of mineral salts, is a legendary place that attracts people from all over the world seeking both physical and mental relaxation.
The boffins at Green Angel have now created a unique range of bath soaks that combine Dead Sea Salts, Essential Oils And Irish Seaweed Extracts meaning you no longer have to visit the Dead Sea to get this relaxation - you can get all the benefits in the privacy of your own bathroom. Adding their own blend of essential oils to the salts and seaweed extracts has enabled them to create a range of soaks designed to give different benefits.

You can get more information about the range of Bath Soaks [as well as purchase them] online. Visit www.heritagepolish.com/skin.html

How can I moisturise my face?

Well, what an absolutely miserable day it has been - raining nearly all day! I live near the top of a hill so I know I won't be affected but I am sure there will be a number of people who will be flooded. My heart goes out to them.

I thought I might be suggesting ways of moisturising your skin from days of sunshine and high temperatures, but the weather people got the long-term forecast wrong, didn't they. The principle still applies though - Green Angel produce two products for your face - Daily Moisturiser and Seaweed and Collagen Face Cream. Used regularly, they will keep your face looking young and your skin in wonderful condition.
Details of both products can be found on www.heritagepolish.com/skin.html

How can I make my hands feel wonderfully soft?

It is a bright sunny day outside now, very different to earlier this morning when we had a thunderstorm. The whole world looks brighter when the sun shines don't you think? I am staying with my son in Somerset for the weekend - the first time I have accessed my blog from anywhere other than from home, Isn't the internet wonderful!

My 12yr old grandson has given me a lesson on how to use Facebook and I now have an "entry" (I am not sure of the terminology but I am slowly being dragged into the 21st Century). I also have a business entry which I will sort out over the coming weeks so watch this space.

One interesting happening - I had a phone call yesterday from a young lady extolling the virtues of Green Angel Bodysmoother and Hand Cream. She really wanted to know which shows I am exhibbiting at and was disappointed to hear I have scaled back at the moment. She went on to say she will therefore buy online. All Green Angel products are available online at www.heritagepolish.com/skin.html

How can I keep my parquet floor clean?

Continuing my theme of yesterday, I have an oak parquet floor in my lounge and hallway. When we lifted the carpet (we were going to put new carpets down) I found this beautiful floor . My wife wanted to continue with the original plan but I pursuaded her not t o as long as I maintained the floor!

As the carpet had been down for a number of years, I first swept the floor. The floor then needed a thorough clean . I had to get down on my hands and knees and scrub the floor using scotchbrite soaked in Heritage Woodcare. This did a brilliant job, removing the bitumin (that had been used to stick the floor down), from between the bricks, paint spots etc. Now I just have to mop the floor using a mop that has been soaked in Heritage Woodcare. This cleans and polishes the floor at the same time.

What can i use to polish my wood floors?

Well, isn't it a miserable day? Whilst it is't cold, it has been dull and wet since before I got up at 5.30.am - yes I am an early riser and I do fall asleep in front of the TV in the evening!

Really, I ought to be getting on with cleaning and polishing my wood parquet floors (this is the agremant I have with my wife - I like the floor, I keep it clean) but at the moment I just can't be bothered, even though it is easy to do using Heritage Woodcare.

Heritage Woodcare can be bought online - visit www.heritagepolish.com.

What can I use to clean and dust my tv?

It isn't as nice a day today as it was yesterday. I have however been out and put weedkiller on my lawn. My wife is determined to get rid of the dandelions that I have spent the last 20years carefully cultivating. At least that is my story and I am sticking to it!

My tip for this week. Did you know that you can use Heritage Woodcare on products other than wood? It is very good on most hard surfaces, e.g plastic, vinyl, marble, etc. Try it on your television - it will not only clean the suround but will also pick up the dust at the same time. You can use it on the glass screen as well (BUT NOT ON THE NEW PLASMA SCREENS) although you will need to buff it up afterwards. Try it on other hard surfaces.

What seaweed products are good for my hair?

I have been reviewing some of my postings, in particular the postings relating to Green Angel Skincare. These are excellent products, all containing extracts of seaweed.
It is worth drawing your attention to the range of hair care products.
Green Angel Shampoo has been specially formulated to refresh and revitalise all types of hair. It is enriched with seaweed and other marine extracts. Green Angel Shampoo helps the appearance of the hair and the scalp, improving the volume and the vitality of the hair.
Green Angel Hair Serum has a penetrating formula that helps repair the damage that chemical processing and styling products can do. It penetrates hair deep down helping to restore your hair to its' natural moisture level leaving it soft and shiny

Both products can be obtained online, visit www.heritagepolish.com/skin.html

The Technocentre, Puma , Coventry

I had a bit of a shock last Monday when I went to collect my mail. The staff member at Ruralnet that I spoke to told me they were closing at the end of this month! That leaves me with a bit of a problem as I now have to find a new address. ( Yes, I know the staff at Ruralnet have a bigger problem as they are losing their jobs but this blog is about me!)

I rang Business Link and b2b. Business Link gave me a couple of numbers but neither were able to help. Gareth and Mark at b2b suggested I try Warwick University and Coventry University Science Parks, and the 4Front scheme run by The Technocentre at Coventry University Technology Park is not only just what I need but cheaper than I am currently paying, so thankyou Gareth and Mark.

W.e.f. August 1st then, my new address is :-

How do I clean the vinyl seats in my VW?

Generally it has been a lovely day, so, this afternoon I was out in my garden digging up brambles. I didn't realise that the roots could get so big! I dug up one root that was well over an inch thick and about 3 inches where the creepers started. I have quite a bit of work ahead of me.

I was talking to someone the other day, (I think it was when we were networking after one of the workshops I attended ) and he is into VW cars. Whilst we were talking he mentioned that a common problem with VW owners is cleaning the Vinyl seats, particularly when they aquire a car that hasn't been used for some time.I was pleased to be able to give him a solution - Heritage Woodcare will do the job admirably.
Prepare your cloth in the usual way (ie - give your bottle a good shake, pour some into a container, soak your soft and clean cloth in the polish, squeeze and ring the cloth out, any surplus polish in your container can then be poured back into your bottle) and then just wipe, turning the cloth when it gets soiled

Heritage Woodcare can be purchased online - visit www.heritagepolish.com/wood.html

How do I look after my Leather Bound Books

The weather is better today with regular sunny intervals, the world looks much brighter when the sun shines.

The first Ashes Test started this morning. The morning session went Australia's way with England deciding to bat first and losing 3 wickets. The afternoon session belonged to England with 100 runs being added without further loss. The evening session has started well - the score now is 200 for 3

My tip for this week. Do you have leather bound books? To keep them in good condition, regularly apply Heritage Leathercare. Use very sparingly . the leather should not be greasy. If it is, you have been over generous and will need to buff up. This will clean the leather, feed it and prevent it drying out.

Heritage Leathercare can be obtained online - visit www.heritagepolish/leather.html

What can I use to clean and polish my wood floor?

It is the 7th July and The Royal Show has started today - the last one as the Royal show will no longer exist after this year apparently. It has been raining quite a lot today which isn't good news for the show - 2 years ago the last day was cancelled as the ground was waterlogged.

I haven't done a show for weeks myself. The last show I did I lost money whereas I was expecting to make a reasonable profit so I cannot see any point in spending several days working long hours if I cannot see a reward at the end of it. What do you think? Please let me know.

With the weather what it is, now is a good time to clean and polish your wood floors. Heritage Woodcare is excellent for this.
Sweep your floor first to remove loose debris, Prepare your cloth in the usual way, put it on the bottom of a brush or mop and wipe. Heritage Woodcare will clean and polish your floor at the same time and will leave it safe to walk on.

Heritage Woodcare can be obtained online from www.heritagepolish.com/wood.html

How do I look after my leather car seats in hot weather?

It has occurred to me this morning that, whilst I talked about leather furniture yesterday, I only mentioned car seats in passing.
My comments yesterday not only apply just as much to your leather car seats but are probably more important as temperatures in cars will rise higher than in the home and your seats are more exposed to uv rays.
